The Northern Kingdoms (Miramor and Ithiria)

“A salt-heavy breeze disturbed the warm expanse of the Sunder, sending a group of gulls into flight. Maelin picked up a book bound in dark green leather: replica of a diary kept by the first king of Miramor during the founding of the kingdom. She had been assigned to study his account of the conflict between himself and his brother, Itherind, over the lands that were once the northern kingdoms.

A conflict never resolved, eleven generations later. After the war, the princes split their father’s lands down the wide waters of the Sunder, Mirand taking the west and Itherind the east. Maelin stared across the bay toward Itherind’s kingdom.

Bad winds blow out of Ithiria. I wonder what that last breeze carried.” – From Sorrow

Brother-artist-game designer dee*ah*chur

(Cautionary-or-inspirational tale: this is what happens when you have a board game as a plot device and your game designer/artist brother works with you for a couple of decades to bring it to life. WOW. Even friends who go to GenCon every year were impressed!)

The Novels

Patience. I’m prolific, but not terribly fast. These are with beta readers (developmental stage, prelude to line editing, prelude to publication). That’s….years, people.
